And I owe a lot of thanks to all of the small, personal websites still hanging in there. Plus @simplebits always-inspiring websites and typefaces.

After gaining cursory understanding of Eleventy, Node, NVM, NPM, the templating languages Liquid & Nunjucks, “front matter”, Bulma CSS, DNS configs, a firewall, an SSL certificate, MX, TXT, and CNAME records for email, and upgrading Ubuntu from 20.04 to 22.04 – on top of some legacy knowledge of HTML, CSS, and Markdown – the entire thing went down when I tried to set up a Plausible analytics instance in a Docker container.

I am so tired.
