I'm a Senior Lecturer in Plant Ecology at the University of Cape Town, working on African (especially Fynbos) and Med-Type Ecosytems. My research spans ecology, evolution and global change with the goal of informing biodiversity policy and management. Most projects involve one or more of fire, water, land cover (including invasive species) and climate change.
