I'm crocheting some chair socks for my mother's chairs so they don't scrape across the floor (the felt pads won't stay glued on). Because I'm improvising (the legs are diamond shaped) & will potentially need to make at least 16 (I think she only has 4 chairs, but there may be more), I'm actually writing out a crochet chart to keep track of what I'm doing so I can repeat if necessary.

Made mushroom risotto tonight and it makes enough for 4, but my kids haven’t yet developed a taste for it yet. I worked off the recipe I have saved on my laptop. I just had the thought to scale the recipe down a bit. Then I had to go check my recipe binder to see if I had a printed copy already scaled back. I am relieved to see that I didn’t yet. So that will be a project for tomorrow.

This year I've been starting my work day with a ritual where I copy all my unfinished tasks onto a new list with today's date at the top. Usually 1 or more get taken off the list, so the next day it looks a little different. Today I realized that everything on my list were items I had to wait until today to actually do so I got to just scratch out the date instead.
