Ffxiv burnout rant

Been taking a break from FFXIV for awhile. Was suffering from severe burnout and chasing pointless things that really weren't improving my enjoyment of the game much.

Additionally the two friends who got me into the game, one is no longer with us and the other is no longer my friend so it's felt kind of lonely. Might roll an alt on Gilgamesh and play with the Moody fam, I've missed that sense of belonging.

Might stay unsubbed for awhile longer. I'll miss the neat reindeer mount and mogtomes, but Fallout: Tale of Two Wastelands has captivated my attention again.

Plus when I took advantage of the free return promo, all I ended up doing was checking submarines and a few other random things.

Tbh I might be burned out on FFXIV, and maybe a few more months off will do me some good.

Still a huge pile of boxes to unpack from the move, anyway...
