I guess also an alternate question might be more useful, does anyone know of any browsers that aren't trying to go all-in on AI bullshit?
Vivaldi does all the things I like aside from the fact that it takes down my entire computer on the regular, and every other browser that I know of is either text-based (which isn't useful to me, sorry lynx users) or is all about AI garbage.
What's left at this point, waterfox or something?

I'm not hitting the limits of my PSU, but it might be Vivaldi interacting weirdly with linux and my 5950x? I usually don't expect a user-facing program to hard down a system like this.
Also, it seems to happen if I run vivaldi at all, even if I then close it and use another browser. No Vivaldi, no crash.

Nothing gets logged, no crash reports get generated, no consistent way to reproduce it aside from "watch youtube in vivaldi on my second monitor while gaming."
Is there some secret debug flags I can use to get info for a bugreport? I know Vivaldi has a fediverse presence so I figured I can ask specifically.

Lying to my face in person about why the card is declining is pretty goddamn annoying, not the teller's fault that the person on the other end of the internal line was bullshitting though.
We'll see if the replacement cards work in 2 weeks, I guess.
I'd ask for suggestions about other canadian banks to switch to but the problems seem pretty widespread in the industry.

All the threads that seem similar to my symptoms are from 6 or 7 years ago.
These crashes also don't ever seem to occur on windows. Not once have I had my pc decide to nope out on me like that before I tried to go linux full time.
How in the world do I narrow it down when it never gets a chance to log it?
Please help?

Hey, Instance admins and mods, or general users with an opinion on it out there, out of curiosity:
Do you allow blatant burner/temporary email addresses when people sign up or submit a join request?
Not aliasing or forwarding, but emails that have an MX record that points to specifically single-use or with a day or two before they're deleted.
I'm down with boosts for reach (hopefully my instance won't be! )
Edited for clarity.
Hello from Schiphol! Waiting for my flight back to canada to start boarding, I wonder how long the cat will treat me like an alien once I'm home this time.

What in the world steps did I miss in trying to move to the new branch? I made sure all the secrets were copied over in the .env.production and etc, db dump and reimport looked good, all the stuff it recommends was in place the same as doing disaster recovery for this version, but it was constantly complaining about undefined methods and missing access tokens?
I am very very lost.

I was having some weirdness with media not displaying and avatars not getting synced. Back to using nginx solely for a redirect forever I guess.
