You may remember last year I have been raising money for my friend Alina and her daughter. The money we managed to gather helped her a lot during the difficult times, Alina asks us for our kindness yet again.
If you could spare as little as £5, that would help her a lot! Alina with her little girl, as well as me, will be grateful for any donation made!
Everything raised here will go straight to her and her daughter.

29.5.2024 09:41You may remember last year I have been raising money for my friend Alina and her daughter. The money we managed to gather helped her a lot...I just wanted to say a BIG THANK YOU to everyone who decided to donate.
Thanks to you, I've managed to collect £925! That is a massive help for Alina! As an update from her, she and her daughter are safe and sound and send a warm Дякую to you.
With the collected money, she managed to get necessities for her daughter for the upcoming months, as well as pay the current bills and save something for when needed later.
I realise who already decided to help Alina through me already did that, but if you still think a single life (or two in this case) are worth your resources, but if you think we can still gather more, I'd be really grateful!
The fundraiser runs for the next 17 days here: https://www.paypal.com/pools/c/8XPgsEJxBD .
Every little counts, and as my ex-colleague used to say: Sharing is caring!

💛💙
I'm, again, grateful for all the donations made this week. It's been a real help for Alina with all the money we've managed to gather. £915 plus some offline donations, totaling £1025 in total! This is a great help for a person not only in mourning, but also in a country devastated by war. The area she currently lives in Kiev is relatively safe, the Ukrainian Air Defence forces are working hard to keep people safe, yet, as you know from the news that reach us, a single missile/drone can reach the target.
From what she told me, she managed to pay current bills, buy necessities for her daughter for the upcoming winter months. She's also waiting for the official process of identification of her MIA husband's body to start, which will give her some government one off help, but it's a long way, filled with paperwork.
I don't want to sound too pressing, I realise who wanted to help, already did that, but if you are still thinking if it's worth it, I can assure you it is. I've been amazed by the how many people decided to help, and it fills me with hope and trust in humanity. Maybe we're not all doomed yet, in the end.
Anyway, if you still want to help, the fundraiser is still opened https://www.paypal.com/pools/c/8XPgsEJxBD
Every little helps and you don't have to contribute millions!

I’ve already sent everything we managed to get together so far to my friend, Alina. She’s very grateful for support.
If you want to contribute, the fundraiser is still opened. Alina and her daughter will sure be grateful for more support! 💙💛
Caring is sharing, as an old friend of mine used to say.

24.9.2023 20:18thanks everyone for the boosts! I really appreciate it! 💙💛Fellow Mastodonians,
Ukrainian friend of mine needs some help from you.
We've agreed with her to keep her as anonymous as possible, for her personal reasons, though I realize it makes fundraising a little harder and puts a lot of responsibility on me.
Before the war, she used to be a teacher in a secondary school in the Kharkiv area, but since the intensity of fights last year, she had to flee to Kiev.
She is now left without a job, her home, and getting closer to running out of resources to get on by.
On top of that, she lost her husband recently, in a battle near Bakhmut, leaving her a single mother to a little girl.
I wanted to help her and her daughter as much as possible in those hard for her times, but I can't do magic. I believe in our generosity.
Alina with her little girl, as well as me, will be grateful for any donation made!
If you can, please share your support at https://www.paypal.com/pools/c/8XPgsEJxBD
Everything raised will go straight to her.

13.11.2022 20:11on the official #ios app for #Mastodon , is there a way to sign in to multiple accounts at once? #mastodonhelpHi all. I've been here for few days now, so I guess it's high time for an #introduction.
To start with, I'm a father of an amaziny boy, who happened to become the joy of my life.
I'm not working in infosec, but it's something I'm interested in and pay a lot of attention to in my job, that's why I chose this instance as my home in the fediverse (apart from the fact that I follow most of the people here on the bird platform).
When it comes to my job, I'm a Linux Systems Administrator for a large retail company in UK.
Linux itself was my hobby for a long time before it became a career, so I ended up looking for new joys in life, since I unintentionally turned my passion into tedious SSDD. Therefore, I end up with multiple things to spend my free time, like photography, DIY, and, most of all, the mentioned child with whom I spend a lot of time recently, passing my knowledge.
I'd also like to thank @jerry for keeping this instance alive and giving us a kind of a digital home!
