I guess sort of generally I want to bring in bird site features like that one. And I get the whole “We do things differently on Mastodon” thing and mostly I love that! But if the response to “People of marginalized groups don’t feel safe here” is “They should just set up their own servers”, why can’t those of us who want some of those bird site features respond to Mastodon culture admonitions with “If you don’t like these features, go get your own server?” #MastodonMigration
