Truly the worst change brought forth by generative AI (/s) is that "Select All" in Instagram for Android's text editing pop-up menu has been replaced by "Write with AI" and so now "Select All" is three taps, one of which is a long tap

I think there's a reasonable business model here! Imagine you could purchase all the articles that a publication put out on a particular day for a nominal fee to offset costs. If you found yourself wanting to regularly view that content, you could then pay a discounted rate for the subscription.

The first step is removing the dependency on Nix as the backend and replace it with a from-scratch build daemon. I'm very excited to have run a very small "Hello World" build on Linux... and Windows! I'm going to write a blog post once zb's in a state where it can handle multi-step builds, so folks can play with it. Stay tuned!

I am happy to report that I am still getting use out of a spreadsheet I started back in Feb 2016 that creates to-do lists out of travel plans. It's been plugged into Todoist, Asana, and now Obsidian Tasks, and still works roughly the same as its first usage. I highly recommend the practice for those who travel.

Basically, make a list of all the things you pack and all the things you do before and after travel. I automated filtering that list, but just having the checklist is enough.
