I have tried similar systems in the past, like Doxygen, but they have been too much work and diverged too far from my workflow. DocC fits in perfectly with my style of coding and feels like almost no work. It’s even fun sometimes.

Several, although one of the most dominant in THE DRAGON'S BROOD CYCLE, and most especially in my #WIP (volume 3), is that of personal identity: who our heroes (or antagonists) are, who they have been, and who they want to become, with a focus on finding (and accepting) what/who they are.

I'm both, but at different stages of the process. My first drafts tend to be a little on the lighter side; when I work on the second draft, which I do on a chapter-by-chapter basis, I tend to expand significantly on what I have. That expansion, incidentally, is almost always my favorite part of the process of crafting a story.

In a way, it does. Each installment, thus far, is roughly mapping to a season. (This was entirely unplanned.) Samhain, and autumn in general, played such an important role in volume 2 (HAVEN DIVIDED), it is a featured element of the cover.
I have plans for winter to play a part in my #WIP, volume 3.
