I was so impressed with the early posts I had seen reminding ppl to alt text their images, etc. but if we're not allowed to speak up on issues related to racism, transphobia, misogyny, etc., then this place is def. not as progressive as it claims. So, what now??

I recognize that for activism - esp. for equity-denied folks - virality matters for awareness, advocacy, etc. Reach definitely matters. But I also know how people with power and privilege lean on those numbers to suggest they are somehow authoritative or even democratic (looking at you, Husk). Anyway, just random things I'm noticing as I learn about this place.
