Wir gehen endlich wieder mal Essen! #NSLunch

Alle EntwicklerInnen und Interessierte dürfen gerne kommen (bitte Bescheid sagen!). Wir wollen uns zum Mittagessen am Mittwoch, den 5. März im 8. Bezirk in Wien treffen. Lokalvorschläge sind willkommen, momentan im Blick ist das Il Sestante in der Piaristengasse. Reserviert wird gegen Ende der Woche, wenn eine ungefähre Personenanzahl feststeht.

Mit dabei sind auf jeden Fall ein paar Leute von Objective Development und MindNode – und hoffentlich noch weitere!

So… Does anyone use SwiftUI on the Mac to build up a main menu and have it validate correctly? Seems like a `CommandMenu` with a `Menu`...

So… Does anyone use SwiftUI on the Mac to build up a main menu and have it validate correctly? Seems like a `CommandMenu` with a `Menu` with some `Button`s *sometimes* doesn’t validate correctly and instead just pretends that the buttons are enabled when they shouldn’t be and vice versa.

Then, triggering the buttons’ keyboard shortcuts is possible when it shouldn’t be, or just beeps when it should be. Not nesting in a `Menu` makes it work.

Pretty easy to show in a sample project. FB13739972.

@macguru17 I’m currently migrating MindNode’s export sheet from manually building up a share menu to NSSharingServicePicker and noticed that when I share a file (e.g. a PNG) to Ulysses, the share sheet is empty. It correctly shows the file when I use the old code. Not sure what’s going on there because in both cases, an NSSharingService is doing the work under the hood. I’m pinging you because it seems to work fine with Apple’s sharing services and also other apps I tried. Any idea?

I just filed a feedback (FB12336153) that asks for more ways to tell a CKSyncEngine what to fetch. It currently only supports deciding based on the CKRecordZone.ID, but it would be nice if there were more ways (e.g. based on a CKQuery). What we’d need would be a way to decide what records to fetch based on a given record’s parent’s ID. Just FYI, @_tim______, @aaron_pearce
