Exactly a week ago I had a colonoscopy following abnormal test results. They removed sixteen polyps from my colon.

Today the lab results for the removed polyps came back and there's nothing cancerous. I'm all clear. For now.

Although the colonoscopy wasn't fun, they were able to treat it during the procedure.

If you are ever offered bowel cancer screening then please take the opportunity. A day or two of indignity and discomfort is far better than developing bowel cancer.
