Does anyone have something set up to predict if someone is heading home?

I set up a little experiment:

1. create a template sensor to calculate the distance between a person and the home zone.

2. Then I use a derivative helper to see if that person is getting closer or moving away.

I should be able to make a rough prediction of someone's ETA with those two measurements.

I just set up a new dashboard for all my schedules, using the scheduler card and the panel view type in lovelace.

The schedule displayed turns off our boiler at night to save energy.
