It's good Attenborough is going around filming wonderful nature in impeccable 4K quality. When we lose it all in order to make a few people a it richer, we'll have a lasting document how it used to be. I just want a simple wireless keyboard that is low profile, not too heavy, quiet, has lit keys, has function keys, doesn't have numerical part, can be made plugged in with usb c which also recharges the battery, comes with a mouse, doesn't blink at me in rgb, is in general not designed to excite teen gamers, doesn't have own screens, doesn't need Windows drivers to work, and doesn't cost way beyond £50. Honestly can't tell if I'm being very demanding or just describing the basics.

Now that it's common knowledge that the most popular GenAI tools stole copyrighted material, you could argue using them to publish generated material is crime too, because people can't reasonably claim that they didn't know. For comparison, if I downloaded songs from The Pirate Bay and used them to publish my own mix, would the court believe if I said I thought it was OK to do that?

As long as a single person's Meta glasses see you, Meta will know where you are and with whom. In any case, the glasses would need to recognise you first before it could determine if you did or didn't consent. At that point you will simply need to trust Meta to do the right thing.

How will AI, trained on human intelligence, gain superhuman intelligence? (Whatever that means; bare with me.) It will need to add something of it's own to itself. But if it could do that, why does it need to be trained in the first place? Humans aren't trained by dogs first in order to gain "supercanine" intelligence later in the process, just saying that sounds riddiculous. But many of us somehow buy it for AI.
