https://mastodon.scot/@materials...I've treated myself to a Wacom stylus, partly because digital art going to be more accessible to me over the Kincardineshire winter, and partly because I have Rebelle 7 on preorder - I'm really looking forward to some of the new features, especially the SVG integration and the metallic pigments. I am an absolute sucker for metallic paint.

It seems to interact really badly with my laptop touchscreen - it took some figuring out how to make it work at all, and then when I take my finger away it shoots off in a semi-random straight line instead of stopping. This may just not be for me till I can afford a graphics pad & powered stylus.

It reliably produces mixed-use landscapes, profitable along multiple axes. 2) Currently, some of the income streams depend on rewilding tourism, which will eventually dry up. But! 3) Metrics for the environmental & ecosystem services are being developed, which means they can be safely monetized.
