i don't know if it's a good idea or not, but I'm making a tool that scans my blog for links, and if those links have webmention recievers, it'll send a webmention and record that this was done in a little sqlite db

my sort of long term goal is to reduce any friction in using webmentions. i'll integrate my own receiver into the blog content itself, somehow, as well

naturally i am doing this instead of reading or writing

i started with a sphere, then just pushed on it in sculpt mode a bit to make it look wonky

i then remeshed it to increase the resolution and did some more squishing and pushing

the shading is handled in godot - not sure if there are downsides to that approach

i made the asteroids in blender using the sculpting mode, which was intuitive and easy. importing the result was painless

i think im going to work on a sort of UI next - selecting an object should trigger some options to do things
