I haven't posted a gunzelly photo in a while so here's one I took when we got to Melbourne this morning. NR 110 with a very shiny new Ghan paint job sitting at the Melbourne LPC.

That's 4 Ghan themed locos that I can think of at the moment. Apparently there's two more to be done so there'll be six available. Journey Beyond pay less if the locos on a train aren't the themed engines. I'm guessing management decided that they needed some back ups.

If only there was another way to transport stuff up the Queensland coast... 🙄...
