This morning after the usual 10 yells and a certain amount of desperation setting in I got told the real problem was “me caring” and I need to stop caring. Now I have an email from school that they are on “punctuality report”. Does anyone have any strategies for enabling children to be more independent whilst also ensuring that they eat breakfast and leave on time?

But it’s absolutely amazing - I totally recommend anyone that suffers from procrastination to actually read about its causes and the scientifically proven ways to combat it. There must be so many problems like this we put up with never bother looking at the already existing in-depth research.

Sadly, at the end of cooking it, I decided to transfer it to a serving dish. During the transfer, I poured the hotpot over the stove top, the oven, the oven handles and over a giant kitchen rug that had recently been cleaned. I don’t think I’ve ever quite created so much mess before.

What they actually said was I needed to cancel my redundant subscription as it was through Apple. Thankfully after escalating to the top tier of Apple phone support, Apple have stepped up and kindly refunded me £12 of the over £500 I’ve accidentally paid for nothing.
