The #JumpRope I bought had a rubber protector on it. Turns out this is exactly what was preventing me from jumping correctly. I was getting one or two in a row. Shortened the rope, same outcome.
Thought "hmm, let's try without the protector" and boom: 20 jumps in a row.

Wife had a go. Childhood memories returned, schooled me 😄
