I just read the craziest thing on Nextdoor. Posted by the Sheriff's Dep't, two people from Oregon arrested for impersonating fire fighters in one of the LA evac zones... they were even driving a fire truck! They bought it at auction. The guy has a prior arrest for arson.

I'm concerned about our air quality in and around Los Angeles. Time to fire up my Corsi-Rosenthal boxes again (after I change the filters). Also putting a fan shroud on them, something I haven't done previously but seems advantageous.

Quickly approaching 4" of rain for the day, our dock is now underwater by about as much. There are a few tributaries that flow into Malibou Lake, so it rises fairly quickly. It's moving toward the damn at a decent clip now, unfortunately we're bound to see patio furniture or even unmoored boats heading over at some point.

We are well past 3" of rain for the day, will be at 3.25" by the time I publish this, and no signs of it slowing down. Current...
