In light of the situation outlined in https://discussion.fedoraproject.org/t/move-mastodon-account-off-of-fosstodon/87843 and my frustrations with reply guy comments (and PMs) from other Fosstodon members when I choose to post about (physical, corporate, political) anti-LGBTQ+ attacks, I'm considering moving off of Fosstodon.

I'm in the market for a new 15" Linux laptop. I currently have a Thinkpad X1 Extreme Gen 2 with 16GB ram, a 1660 graphics card, and 512 GB storage. I'm fine with onboard graphics (Optimus has been a nightmare on my current laptop, and I don't do anything graphically intensive). I want at least 6 CPU cores, 32GB ram, and a terabyte of storage. Does anyone have suggestions?

CentOS Stream wants it both ways. It wants to brand itself as a community distro like Fedora just with more QA and stricter stability guarantees. When your distribution is entirely developed by people working at Red Hat and the people with the most weight in decision making are RHEL customers and not the actual users/community of CentOS Stream, it's not a community distro.
