I never did figure out what the item was, I was waiting for the snow to melt some which it did but someone has come along this afternoon...

I never did figure out what the item was, I was waiting for the snow to melt some which it did but someone has come along this afternoon & picked it up. I do see there's broken glass underneath the apple tree now that the snow is melted so whoever picked up the item didn't see the glass.

I had my prescriptions delivered today cuz I didn't want to walk the 3 blocks to get it. I am so over winter & having to bundle up...

I had my prescriptions delivered today cuz I didn't want to walk the 3 blocks to get it. I am so over winter & having to bundle up some to go out in it. Besides, if I had gone out to go get it I would have been tempted to go to the dollar store & pick up some stuff I really don't need. I think we're still supposed to get more snow this week so I think I'm in for the rest of the week. It was a nice quiet day.

I'm going to try & watch a recorded episode of a design show before going to sleep but if I do fall I wouldn't surprise me. I'm beyond tired today, the tank is running on fumes but thankfully this week is over!

I was putting away the dishes when I dropped the frying pan lid right onto the top of my foot right above my big toe & hit a nerve that sent a tear out of each corner of my eyes before the words 'fucking hell' came flying out of my mouth! That damn foot was mad enough already & it didn't need this on top of what I'm already dealing with! Day 3 of high pain days! Thank goodness it's the weekend!

Also my place smells amazing now that I've got Hungarian paprika have to put on the chicken in the house again! I had an Hungarian friend who told me if you're going to buy paprika buy Hungarian but if it doesn't say Hungarian on it then it's not really Hungarian paprika & that's stuck with me but after the fire at Bulk barn last summer & not being able to get a new supply when I ran out I tried the others & she was right there's nothing like Hungarian paprika!

I caught the bus at 8 a.m. to go across town to do my shopping, the bus stop is right next to a gas station so I noted the price of gas. The closer I got to the grocery store I noticed the prices started dropping by a dime but I actually got to witness the price go up as we drove on. We passed 1 electronic sign that had the lower price on it but when I turned around to look at the other side of the sign I noticed that it had the higher price on it so the price must have just changed.
