Field containing a character they don't like? 403! But with a generic error and a bizarre HTML body. Something you're actually not...

Field containing a character they don't like? 403! But with a generic error and a bizarre HTML body. Something you're actually not allowed to access (but token is valid for other items)... 401! Access token wrong? 403 but complain in a JSON response that the fields are not editable(?!). Sometimes there are errors, sometimes they are in the "errors" property, sometimes in the "errorMessage" properties. It's a complete mess.

I think the authors of the Jira API either have never seen another API, or got there first, made lots of mistakes and decided it's a breaking change to fix them now. This is me giving them the benefit of the doubt after banging my head against it over the past few days.

I think this bath mat for our children might be the worst world map I've ever seen. Not only is New Zealand missing again, but the UK, Ireland, Japan and all Mediterranean and Caribbean islands. The Suez Canal is now a sea. Maybe this is a vision of the world after some sort of cataclysmic event?!

I strongly suspect that every dependent package listed at https://www.npmjs.com/package/18?activeTab=dependents made the same mistake as me and did "npm install 8" instead of "nvm install 18" given it's a blank package. Except I only did it locally and didn't publish my error to npm for others to consume... 🤦‍♂️
