claims to be fighting a proxy war with the West/US/NATO.

OK. So, let's see who is winning this war so far:

Dead & Wounded Russian Soldiers: Approx. 300,000

Dead & Wounded NATO Soldiers: Approx. 0

It's fair to say that whatever the cost is to help Ukraine expel the Russians from their territory, that it's well worth the investment (and relatively cheap too) no matter how you look at it.

Will the Russian military ever recover from this disastrous SMO? We hope not.

and product/service quality (or lack there of) is one of many passions that I have so, I thought I would talk a little bit about it, in case anyone might be interested in the matter.

So, what exactly is corporate greed anyway? My definition goes something like this: A company/business or private body that primarily focuses on profits, at the expense of everything else. And by "everything Else" I mean things like the environment, employees, safety, security, and many more.

Basically, it's what companies do, or how they behave (lie, steal, manipulate etc.), just to get your money in order to build wealth.

I want to also acknowledge to you that there are companies and businesses that actually do the right thing and focus on the consumer. Whilst rare, they do indeed exist.

Unfortunately, the vast majority hardly ever place the customer anywhere near the top of the priority list. They usually claim they do. In fact, they want you to believe they do, so much so that they'll go out of their way to convince you what a great corporate citizen they are.

The problem with this approach (to claim something they're not) is that they see a strong need to blow their own trumpet, rather than let their products and exemplary behaviour speak for themselves.

But, what happens when a product or service falls short or breaks? Usually, consumers express their grievances back to the vendor or, place of purchase, and it's here where the true colours of any organisation are revealed, which also leads me to my point.

The problem with today's society is that too many companies/businesses choose to produce too many cheap products that either underperform of break in some way and very quickly. As a result, the consumer is automatically is let down and unhappy.

So what does the company/business try to do? Some may argue, deny or reject any claim made against the. While others may actually grudgingly (or otherwise) fix or repair the issue/product.

However, neither of these approaches are satisfactory because the product/service was not of a high enough standard to begin with. The consumer had bought into a negative experience because the people behind the product/service did not apply the necessary quality controls to prevent such an outcome from happening in the first place.

Sure, maybe the company did a great job at repairing things and making things right, but questions need to be asked why wasn't the product or service good enough from the beginning to prevent such things from happening?

Dig deep enough and you will quickly discover that corporate greed had a lot to do with it. Or, the quality was not up to snuff because they chose to use cheap materials, cheap labour, or rushed everything to market and ignored such things as product instructions, manuals, and adequate warnings etc. In the end, the cutting of corners turned a square box into a round ball that eventually killed the product/service.

My next post offers a solution. Stay tuned.

The purchased price of $44Bn for is a heck of a lot of money for a social media platform that has always struggled to make money.

So, you have to wonder what was thinking at that time. What did he see in Twitter that compelled him to make the offer? Was it an ego thing or did he honestly believe he could run the company 'better'? But how? By sacking thousands of workers and aggravating its user base? After all, was never going to make him rich(er).

For a 'smart guy', he definitely is not good at handling his money. Should've just stuck to making electric cars and leave the bird alone.

In case there are people who are unfamiliar with a You-tuber by the name of Jake Broe, he runs a channel that mostly talks about the war in that I think has some great content for anyone interested in what's going on. Here is a link to his latest video in case anyone is interested: youtu.be/IiMB8oS6FTY

However, it's a pity he doesn't have a account just yet but I hear that he's not a big fan of or his crumbling platform. Hopefully, we might see him here soon.

https://aus.social/@michaelti/11...

Why does and lie so much and why are they so bad it? You would think that anyone who does something often enough would become experts at it, yet Russia somehow is not. Their lies are so obvious, and at times so outrageously bad and twisted, that it defies logical thought or reasoning.

For a nation of 144 million, Russia possibly are the clear champions of misinformation, propaganda, deception, and flat-out lies. If it were an Olympic sport, it would be a walk in the park. China would probably get the silver.

So, why do they do it when it's plainly obvious? The short answer is that the truth is way more painful than the embarrassment of a lie would be if they ever got caught (which happens a lot). It's also a cultural thing too.

So, next time you hear Russian media say things like "...we're winning the war in Ukraine" or "Ukraine started this war", just remember that the complete opposite is actually closer to the truth.

I'm writing this because it seems that, according to many here on , this is the way to go, especially when you're a new user like me. 😀 So, forgive me if I'm doing something wrong or if I missed something. I'm learning to use this platform as I go and I assure you, it wouldn't have been intentional.

So, where do I stand in this big, wide world of ours and what do I stand for, exactly? Well, I'm rather passionate when it comes to injustice. Particularly, when it comes to corporate greed, government and criminality in general. For instance, the war in Ukraine makes my blood boil, especially when I see people justifying it. In my eyes, there simply is no justification for war. 's aggression on a peaceful nation is both barbaric and a danger to the entire world.

As a 'Jack of all trades, master of none', kind-a guy, I love creating things that either satisfy a need or provide a solution to a problem. I love building things, making things, and restoring old things back to new again.

I'm also spiritual person (I'm not religious in any way). I appreciate the kindness of others and often give back more than I receive. I love nature and despise anyone who is careless or wants to destroy it, especially for profit or 'recreational fun'. I also love and can't understand why anyone would want to hurt them.

Well, that's pretty much me. I could go on, and on but I think you get the gist by now. Thank you for reading.

You have to wonder why Elon spent US$45Bn on a social media platform that is never, ever going to make any money, especially when where's a plethora of alternatives to use.

Limiting activity on Twitter is just another nail in the Twitter coffin. Advertisers won't like it. Twitter users won't like it. Alternative social media platforms, on the other hand, will no doubt love it.

Today, I joined Mastodon, for the very first time, and I'm loving it already. Simply awesome. Up yours, Elon.
