Riot Games just dropped a new crate for League of Legends but instead of loot, this crate has a rootkit inside. Riot Games' anti-cheat tool, Vanguard, has entered the game to fight those pesky cheaters. But here's the thing: to use it on Windows, you basically have to let Riot install a rootkit on your computer, which gives them some seriously deep access. Yikes! Linux gamers don't have to deal with that...they just broke the game entirely.

I have been using a new productivity tool and I think it’s been helping me improve my workflow. It’s got todo list, calendar integration, pomodoro times, project time tracking, eisenhower matrix, and a lot more. In the past 2 days, I’ve got so much done. We recorded a new Destination Linux, I have already edited that episode, I wrote the outline for the next This Week in Linux and I’m about to record that episode. I’m going to keep using this app and maybe I’ll make a video on it 😎
