I have a way to gauge how stressed out I am.
I dream about work.
I retired four years ago, yet I had a dream about work last night that woke me up.
In my dream, I was thrown into an emergency situation upon arrival and wasn't given report on my patients. I was several hours into the shift and I was running around trying to catch up. I was scared to death I'd miss something that would cause patient harm.
So yes, I am stressed out. 😱
I attended the San Diego Hands Off protest yesterday.
Here are a few pictures. My son, his lovely wife and a dear nurse buddy were there as well. Don't have the official number, but the estimate has been as high as 20K.

Oh shoot! No Lawrence tonight either!
I hope he is OK.
I wish I could disagree.

Boy do I feel foolish.
I worked 53 years thinking I'd have Social Security as PART of my retirement. Life is complicated. I didn't plan on a divorce in my 50's or paying for a good deal of my mother's care, so funding my 401K was not on schedule when I finally threw in the towel and retired at 69. Joke's on me! I had enough with SS and my anemic 401K to pay the bills and take a vacation every couple of years when I retired 4 years ago.
SS is doubtful & my 401K is sinking fast.
Somehow, this benefits the wealthy as I try to figure out how to survive.
Good times.
Enough fun for me today.
Going to figure out dinner and get ready to watch Rachel Maddow.
Have to mellow out so she can rile me up.
See you on the flip side.
Talked to an old college friend who lives in New Mexico yesterday. She is attending a protest on April 5th there. My daughter in law will be with me here in San Diego as well as an old nurse buddy. My youngest sister in a very red part of Virginia will also be participating in her neck of the woods.
Positive energy is building.
Let's get this done.
Gorgeous day in California. Up and doing chores. I'm zipping around (a 73 year old version of zipping), and my body is not having it. OUCH says my right knee! TOP THIS says my back! My right wrist flips them both off and demands Voltaren gel. I start laughing and then my brand new, stress driven cold sore cracks open to remind me to tone it down a little.
Living la vida loca...
I retired at 69 and didn't take my Social Security until 70 to maximize my benefit. I worked 53 years and now my financial security is being raided to satisfy the never ending avarice of the wealthy.

Keep them sick
Keep them poor
Keep them uneducated
For some reason this is not showing up as a link that takes you to the substack article by Caleb Acarma.
Basically, it reviews the affidavit that describes the gorilla warfare tactics used to access the SSA to raid our personal information and resources.

grow a spine and do the right thing. Joy hasn't bent a knee, why do you?
Rhapsody in Blue is one of my favorite compositions. It was the first piece of music that grabbed my attention when I was young (middle school). This is a long video, but so very enjoyable. I had no idea the Mayor of Boston was an accomplished pianist.

I submitted my taxes electronically yesterday and they were accepted quickly, so we will see...while I was filling out my personal information, I was tempted to enter, "Ask Elon".
Oddly, the protests are hardly mentioned on the news, but the sane washing of an on going coup continues.
The Fourth Estate is nonexistent.
"One of the saddest lessons of history is this: If we’ve been bamboozled long enough, we tend to reject any evidence of the bamboozle. We’re no longer interested in finding out the truth. The bamboozle has captured us. It’s simply too painful to acknowledge, even to ourselves, that we’ve been taken. Once you give a charlatan power over you, you almost never get it back."

I'm going to go listen to my audio book.
I need a bit of a break.
And 10 million dollars.
Calling a night.
Walked 6.5 miles
Coordinated care for a friend.
Just trying to decide on whether or not to have a fire in the fireplace.

In my quest to survive the zombie apocalypse I have been researching how to extend the shelf life of eggs. Turns out, someone has already done this and I am not sad about it.

Changed my linens.
Mopped my floors.
Froze all three credit bureau accounts because tech bro has been raiding the treasury.
Just a typical Tuesday.
