The main two books which it shows to me are (left) a book in which I have a chapter and (right) a book in which my wife has a chapter.
Should I be (a) happy by the fact that our work is advertised to potential readers (b) freaked out by the level of data which made this ad possible (c) surprised by the failure of the system which is advertising a book to me which I obviously won't buy (since we have author copies).

Hello everyone.
I have just migrated from a different Mastodon server, because this place is managed by an established institution of our community and because I prefer to know who the admin is.
I am history and politics lecturer at the University of Cambridge & The British University in Egypt.
I did my DPhil in Oxford on Sudanese nationalism and political parties in the 50s and 60s. I have recently been working on sovereignty as a practice from a global perspective.
