I have never experienced this before, but I have someone who repeatedly is asking/deferring to me instead of my male coworker that I’ve said is responsible for the work

Usually when this happens it’s the opposite, where they go to the men even when I’m clearly identified as the knowledgeable person

Maybe it’s unfair of me, but I can’t see people supporting the Conservatives without thinking that they’re willing to sell my human rights for a tax break.

The person behind me in line at the grocery store was wearing a Conservative pin, and it just felt like a slap in the face.

I know the federal Conservative Party isn’t openly campaigning on taking away trans people’s rights, but I certainly do not trust them to protect us.
