I like the idea of a format where rarity matters, the average power level is curtailed, and less-common cards have a bigger impact on the game.
(I’ve been watching random old MTG videos on YouTube lately, despite not having played in probably a decade.)

- Constructed format
- Same card pool as legacy, same banned list
- 60 card main deck, 15 card sideboard
- All mythic rare cards are banned
- No more than 5 rare cards across main deck and sideboard
- No more than 15 uncommon cards across main deck and sideboard
- The rest is comprised of commons
- Similar to Pauper, a card fits into a given rarity if it was ever printed at that rarity
I could have exported my data from 1Password and imported it into Vaultwarden, but I‘ve decided to migrate my logins manually.
I’ll take it as an opportunity to audit all of my accounts — delete the ones for services that have closed up shop, delete accounts I no longer need, and maybe update the email address on some of them.

I still use apps that will store files in iCloud Drive, but for more generic document storage in the cloud, I think I’m going to stick with Dropbox going forward.
I also have our home server for things that I need less frequently or that I’m keeping for archival purposes and don’t need access to wherever I am.

I’m planning to use Apostrophe for writing on Linux and Ulysses on iOS for now.
Anyone have recommendations for other writing apps I should try, especially on Linux?

Once I have this migrated over, I’ll be able to access everything from other platforms — no longer locked in to iCloud for this use case.
Then I can more easily write from my Linux machine using another application and have it sync with Ulysses.
And, lastly, I can look at moving from Ulysses to iA Writer to save myself $30 each year.

Is there a larger instance than that involved in the block?
My gut tells me Fosstodon won’t be impacted by being blocked as much as the instances doing the blocking will be.
