Ever since I tuned my 7 string guitar to D standard with a drop G, it has been playing funny. Dead notes, fret buzz on the low two strings. I’m so tempted to take it to a luthier or guitar tech but learning how to setup guitars is fun, though I am terrible at it. I’ve adjusted the action, adjusted the truss rod, first for more relief, and then almost undid everything I did except for maybe an 1/8 turn. No joy. My next step is to try adjusting intonation.

Not that anyone asked, but I also use huge text and line spacing. I got so used to it and I love it so much that I always have to do a double-take when I see someone using "normal" text size.
