Now that I have been in #mastodon for almost a week, I can feel the difference with #twitter. Over in the bird site, I watched things unravel and, in rare cases, commented something. Here I get to _talk_ with people.

Twitter is like the mall. I go there to watch the storefronts and ads, have a nice walk around and go home. This is like the town square. I come here to know people and with them.

The interesting thing, I don't think they are opposite. More like complementary.
