What's cool about the Fediverse is that I don't feel like I have to make a brand and promote myself as a personality to get anyone to engage with me. Just say some stuff I've been thinking about and people are generally pretty nice about it.

I don't love the term brainwashing because it implies lack of free will and sounds forceful, I prefer indoctrination, although I can't be sure what is the difference.

But thinking about indoctrination makes me wonder what we aren't indoctrinated about - consumerism, patriotism, gender stuff, religion, social values, morality. Some are good life lessons and some not so much. Trying to find answers to stuff only brings more questions, which just figures.

I am interested to see whether talking about vulnerable things on the internet is a good idea. I am unsure, and it is an experiment.
