Opening the bird place is like opening the door to torrential, freezing rain, knowing you have to go out there because work or whatever. It’s not good. I’m only keeping it live to catch stragglers. This is my natural home. I’m staying here with the bubbly and the bubbles and the scent of white sage.

You are only connected to somebody you follow from the time you follow them. You won’t see the toot history of someone using a different instance until you do so. If you don’t like what you see, fine! Unfollow. Simple.

Thousands of people are creating connected safe spaces for us free of charge, and largely on their own dime. We are all guests here. I am grateful for their hospitality.
