People talk about term limits everytime a #politician strokes out or shits their pants at the podium, which, goes without saying, has become a regular occurrence, but no one talks about how many of these people are possibly, maybe, even very likely just going insane from lead.

The stupefying thing about this is that even after realizing this, there are still plenty of people who will support watching their #rights evaporate to continue the senseless, undignified stanning of #trickledown, #neoliberal, #billionaire economics. For a seemingly abundant number of soon-to-be and recent retirees, loss of labor rights is of no concern, and could even offer an opportunity to act on their long held, bone-picking resentment towards younger gen’s.

#glitchart is so interesting to me. You can apply technological knowledge using dated equipment chained together with cable spaghetti in so many different ways to create something unique and often impermanent. The addition of analog video feedback creates unpredictable randomness that is non-repeating and chaotic. I only hope that hours of staring into old crt tv’s will not permanently degrade my eyesight.

I am a weary traveler from over yonder on ig and xitter.
While I’m not leaving leaving those platforms just yet, (my regular routine of hypertensive doomscrolling is well established) I plan to explore what the #fediverse has to offer. The idea is both intriguing and needed in these trying times. Previously I’ve used ig mostly for recipes, memes and sharing my analog #videoart with like-minded folks, while X for me is more for commiserating with fellow leftists.
