I wanted to support the instance in the past, but I feel the starting tier of 8 EUR/mo to be slightly high for my budget, at this point.

Would it make sense to have smaller tiers to support the instance hosting/admin and higher ones to have a more broad contribution to the project as a whole? 🤔

It will bash the 'federation' concept and label it as 'another of the stupid ideas of the woke virus disease' that will never be able to create a network so popular as Twitter/X. Will say most of these ideas and mechanisms are from and infringe on X IP. Heard it here first.
