We managed about 10-12 miles this weekend in two separate hikes. One place we've been several times before (around Abingdon and the surrounding countryside which is nice and flat) and one place we hadn't (around Stoke Rowe where there were quite a few hills and a lot of quagmires). BUT the boots got walked in nicely, so I'll chalk that up as a win even though my calf muscles are definitely barking at me this morning.

Works on the 'deck - but is a bit pricey on steam (£33) - Hunt around for cheaper keys elsewhere. Loads of fun though. Capping knights with a crossbow to gangster tunes mixed with madrigals = WIN!

People ask me why I still play videogames "At my age" and I'm always surprised that there's still a perception that games are purely for kids / young people, and that us eldsters are somehow lacking the brain power or manual dexterity to be able to cope with games any more. I'm fairly sure that I'll still be playing them well into my 60s, 70s, 80s or however long I live. I'm also 100% sure I'll still get this question until I kick the bucket too.

Mine gott! EA has actually FIXED SOMETHING! The recent 25th Anniversary editions of the Sims 1 and 2 now finally work on Steam Deck (and work very well too!) About bluddy time as they've been out for weeks! I still find it slightly disturbing that Bob Newbie bears a striking resemblance to me, though 25 years ago I would never have made the connection :)
