I used to think "oh yeah the Eagle is a cool bird, no wonder it's a symbol of the US". Then last year I saw an Eagle nest in the Adirondacks and it's a real thing that makes an impact. Like seeing the ocean, or the Rockies for the first time. Eagles are legit.
