Last week I made a post about how my Classic Art accounts were doing. Since it's a new week, I guess I should make an update.

Previously my posts were getting the most engagement here on #Mastodon than on #Tumblr. This week I have to report the opposite.

On Mastodon, landscapes seemed to do the best, while on Tumblr it's history paintings and portraits.

Interestingly, on Tumblr I get the most engagement during the night, which I suspect is coming from North American users.

For more than a week I've been posting my favourite classic artworks both here on #Mastodon and on my secondary #Tumblr blog.

The results: I get more likes here than on Tumblr. 10 followers here and none on Tumblr. My main Tumblr blog has 20 followers, 19 of which I'm pretty sure are bots.

A thing I have noticed on #Reddit is that when someone mentions #Mastodon there will be a lot of comments about how it sucks, but they never mention WHY it sucks, or have any specific criticisms. Seems kind of sus to me.
