I hope that Volodymyr Zelenskyy is aware of how much respect many #Americans have for him. I, for one, am proud of the assistance that the United States has provided to #Ukraine, though I wish we had done more over the past 3 years. There was a time when conservatives in America would scream that "freedom is not free," like during the ridiculous, unnecessary Iraq War under George W. Bush. Now they want to count pennies and deny the freedom of the Ukrainians. It's astonishing and shameful.

Bernie Sanders continues to be an important voice, especially in these times when the wealthy are incredibly stinking wealthy and most everybody else is struggling even to get a one-bedroom apartment. I'm one of the latter and just moved back in with my parents at the age of 51. I sure hope that's temporary!
