No, an individual user SHOULD NOT have to buy a family plan just so they can have more than 500GB of storage. Not sure how they think anyone can take their storage service seriously when the ceiling for storage space is so low and there is no ability to increase it separately. Once you hit that ceiling you are forced to either fork out for a family plan or leave.

MS just blocked me from downloading the Win11 ISO and gave me an error: "Some users, entities and locations are banned from using this service." I noticed on multiple forums that many users were struggling with the same error.

I then proceeded to download their Win11 media creation tool, and using the tool, I obtained the ISO with no hiccups. I am struggling to see what this security control is achieving other than irritating their more non-technical end-users.

As an update to this thread, I went with mix of the suggested recommendations: I setup a GitHub repo, sync using the #ObsidianGit community plugin on desktop and then #WorkingCopy app + Shortcuts automation for iOS. The LogSec tutorial shared by @da5is has a good walk through that also applies to #Obsidian

Started using @obsidian note taking app this week. Very clean and well put together, with great community themes & plugins. Getting task tracking working has been a bit of work but there are some good blog posts on it.

Only downside is the $89/y price tag on the Sync feature. It is far too cost prohibitive for something as simple as having text files sync between devices. If someone knows an alternative to Sync to get notes on iOS then please reply. #obsidian #notetaking #sync
