Retired software developer. Wrote first FORTRAN IV in 1968. Still writing C++. Worked in embedded systems. Have done amateur robotics (non-destructive) including competing in NASA Centennial Challanges.

Wrote for Hackaday.com for a few years.about C++ with focus on Arduino and Pi.

Father of 2 although lost son in 2014. Grandfather of 3 (2m, 1f) and g-grandther of 1 male.

Building a social network seems a bit difficult when trying to add folks from another server. I follow their profile to their home server to check their network. To follow someone, I have to sign in to that server. The alternative is a cut/paste of their URI to search on my server.

Any suggestions?
