limiting rounds, of lets say .556, would mean that US arms companies that produce it would lose money. it would mean it would become more expensive for police and military to acquire them. so, they won't do that

get rid of the idea of "assault weapons". it's a subjective term that doesn't mean anything but "scary looking"

instead push for, limits on magazine capacity, regulation on sales of some calibers of ammunition, close the private sale loopholes, requirements to store weapons locked, funding of suicide and depression awareness, and fund more gun safety classes (not in schools) and opening new community ranges
