#BirdOfTheDay is the Three-Wattled Bellbird, #MonteVerde, #CostaRica. The male has a white head and throat and the remaining plumage is chestnut brown. From the base of his beak dangle three long, slender, black wattles that he uses in display.
With its loud, distinctive, bell-like call he is more often heard than seen!
It took us an hour in the jungle to find this fella!
