I just saw a YouTube video where a guy recommended rebooting your Windows computer regularly because running it as long as *8 hours* could "harm your components." The comments were appropriate and unforgiving. I checked the uptime on my 2013 MacBook Pro, my *only* computer of the last 10 years (nearly exactly 10 years):

What was the hardware? I've been searching hard for several days for any report of this in the wild and I cannot find a single case. At this point I really suspect that the common advice to test endianness "just in case" has outlived its usefulness, becoming cargo-cult thinking, and if your browser supports typed arrays at all those arrays will appear little-endian.
