God it's a curse being deep in the sunk cost hole of game development and trying to figure out if your core conceit works and is fun for longer play sessions. We're really butting against old early design concepts that are starting to feel like they're holding us back from getting the game feel we've strived for. To pivot now could be a major set back, but not pivoting could also result in making something that doesn't live up to our ambitions.

Generally speaking, I'm happy training junior coworkers. I don't mind sitting down together to run through the docs and explain how to use a tool.

However, I do mind when I'm having to explain industry standard tools to fellow contractors. Y'all are paid silly well. You've been hired as a specialist. You should know how to use the basic tools properly. This is all written on their docs. Stop using my time and read the fucking docs, we've already linked the relevant pages 3 times.
