I enjoy plein air. I'm new'ish to the area, but one day I decided to venture out on my own. Loaded my painting gear and drove out to see a reservoir an hour away. I got lost twice even with GPS, through unpaved roads, got nervous about the certain political stickers on my vehicle... ! Finally got to the lake, which was completely dry. Absolutely no one was around, and how eery quiet it was! #artist #mastoart

Now I am doing the same on Mastodon and IG but not on TW. My counter on DPW jumped! Now by the end of next day I have 160~200 views, some leading to the visits to my online gallery on DPW. This really makes me happy; selling is wonderful, but showing is even more exciting. So glad I came here. Thank you Mastodon! #mastoart #art #artist ... 2/end

I have accounts on the birdsite and IG, and also DailyPaintworks where I basically catalog all of my paintings. DPW is wonderful especially its analytics. I was pretty bummed about leaving the birdsite because I had some good (to me) sales there, and zero from IG. But ethically I can't ... (snip) So when I finish a painting, I post it on DPW and... 1/
