A fun failure mode of the Hatch Rest+ Gen 2 is that it will stop playing white noise and instead start producing a high pitched buzzing noise that will eventually fade to a demonic roar before eventually producing sporadic static.

Eventually, the battery dies and you can reset it.

It's happened twice now while my child was sleeping and I'm not particularly happy about it.

So, I’m now the president of my HOA. I basically chosen by default because no one wanted to do it and I didn’t want HOA costs to increase by whatever it would take to hire a management company.

My HOA is pretty chill. 53 houses. Fairly low yearly fee. No real drama. Maybe 15 houses attended the annual meeting.

Old president doesn’t have time anymore.

For entertainment purposes, I will be live tooting this journey (within the bounds of being respectful of my neighbors).
