It is known, but perhaps not well known, that 75% of Americans had a negative view of Dr. King, and after his death in 1968, 1/3 of Americans thought he 'brought it on himself.' He was considered by some accounts as the most hated man in America when he died. Does anyone have papers or books they can share that discusses this? Especially how some of that vitriol may echo some of today's social climate.

We help by funding the difference of their tuition for 2 years at WGU (a 501(c)3), where I got my undergraduate degree in 2014. 12 recipients all around the USA have been awarded, and I do my best to keep in touch with all of them!
