• University managers in the EMU not allowing us to promote events, tabling and talking to workers in the EMU when other groups are allowed.
• Dining workers not being allowed to wear union pins

UOSW is withdrawing the previous ULP in favor of filing a larger one with more of the instances of union busting. It’s time to #showuo they are not above following labor law!

What's a ULP?

It's an unfair labor practice, and by filing this we are holding the University of Oregon accountable to following labor laws.

What will our ULP include?

• Most recently, RAs had previously been promised and budgeted a 50 dollar raise that was desperately needed in February and in April were told that raise was being revoked because they were unionizing.
• Supervisors telling people not to talk about unionizing on the clock when we're allowed to talk about other non-work topics.
• Supervisors not allowing non-employee students to talk with student workers off the clock or student workers to talk to each other off the clock.
• Administration telling professors that the union wasn't allowed to make announcements in class despite others being allowed to such as voter registration (1/2)

TODAY!! 4:30pm at Johnson Hall. Be there to #ShowUO that we exist, and that we run this university. The University of Oregon Administration is denying the existence of over 2000 student workers by giving us a proposed union size of 700 workers.

Their actions show the workers who make our dining halls, student services, rec center, library, EMU, classrooms, tours, and campus work are not valued. The hours we work are essential to them and they ignore our contributions. We need to show them that UO works because WE WORK.

We need to know who works at UO so all workers have a fair certification hearing. We will not be releasing any of your names or addresses outside of this process with the Employment Relations Board.

The next step of certifying our union is comparing our lists of workers for @uoregon 's list of workers through a process with the state Employment Relations Board (ERB). Our union is fighting to represent all workers on campus.

For example, University Housing has said in the past they don't consider Resident Assistants employees. We want to ensure that RAs are considered a part of the union so we have to explain to the ERB why they deserve a union.
