I was surprised that Rust is not so hard as I expected. I know, it is probably a mistake of a beginner. I tried to learn Rust a couple of years ago but gave up very fast, probably in 1 hour.

Of course together with Gadgetbridge because it is FOSS and presents in F-droid repository. But the last year the display became dark and hardly readable. So yesterday we've bought a #Huawei watch Fit-4CE STA-B39, and it paired with the Gadgetbridge surprisingly easy!
Thank you, Gadgetbridge guys!

But web UI is not good to search through changesets: it shows only 20 latest edits and button "Load more" fetches 20 more.
So I've improved #osmapi library and created a script to fetch a list of all my edits and save them into a file (currently — JSON, CSV or #Python pickle are supported).
Try it here: https://github.com/metaodi/osmapi/pull/174

Now it is curious for me, how much will it take to update the #OpenStreetMap with everything I collected. Because sometimes it takes more time to add the data (and fix other objects around) than to collect it!

And the boot order is locked, so I can't just boot that I want, from my drive, even with security boot disabled in BIOS.
I've checked the PCIe Wi-Fi module: when it plugged, PC starts without an error message, as it could be with BIOS locked to DELL-only adapters.
So tomorrow I will return it back to the shop.
For curious people: you can search in the Internet for "dell 8fc8 bios unlock", I had no luck. Nice site https://bios-pw.org doesn't support my version.

Today I've bought a used Dell OptiPlex 3080 MFF with i3-10100T, 8 GB DDR4 and 512 GB SSD for 700 PLN ($174) in #CeX shop. It doesn't have Wi-Fi card, but I have one. Also I have a 16 GB DDR4 module.
Surprise: the BIOS has admin password, and there is no more "CMOS reset" jumper on the motherboard. You can press power button for 20 seconds, and it resets some settings, 🧵

@liw , thank you for the tool!
I created 2 merge requests 🙂 I'm thinking also to move YAML examples into separate directory and maybe add more examples there.
I want to install #Devuan 6 Excalibur from SATA SSD to NVME drive of my "new" System76 Galago pro (galp3-b). I'm thinking to use some ready script which will configure EFI partition, hostname, e.t.c.. I found nice Python script #vmdb2 https://vmdb2.liw.fi , which has almost everything except of Devuan configuration example. So I created a repository with more examples: https://gitlab.com/vazhnov/vmdb2-examples . And then I found https://gitlab.com/vazhnov/devuan-debootstrap-grub-efi , which I created in 2023 and I already used it 🤣

This week is difficult time for me — to negotiate and sign a lot of documents, to do all the courses for onboarding. I even didn't start to do a real work yet — my project starts next week. Also, this is my first fully remote job, because they don't have an office in Wrocław 😞 I prefer to be in office at least 4 days per week. And next week I have to start working with mac, but I'm a Linux user…
Tell me something nice in comments 🙂

As usual, I sent an email with a question about #IPv6 support (I use Orange, but I'm interesting to have alternative).
Surprisingly, the answered was they can provide an IPv6 /56 network per router.
But I don't see any documentation about it. I see they own 2a02:21a0::/29, but that doesn't mean they use it.
Maybe the Fediverse knows something about Finemedia's IPv6 support for end users?

CI/CD example is based on Github Actions, which I hope can be replaced by Gitea. Unfortunately, the demo repository is under non-commercial license.
Also, nothing about testing with hardware/emulation. Only unittests and code coverage.
Anyway, interesting too see how CI/CD logic is designed.

I disassembled it to see all the protection circuits it has. I was surprised to find… double plastic case and no ANY protection, even a fuse. I'm disappointed. Usually "premium" products has fuse, filters, e.t.c.…
